Hey all!! For some reason my text is underlined again!! Anyway, Here's a sketch/design for my proposed puppet. It's based on the Greek God Pan, but mixed with contemporary rock star aesthetics, (for this design, mainly Dave Navarro.) The name Alyson Chains is courtesy of Vanessa!
In other news I went to see Dances With Wolves in 3D at the cinema Friday. The 3D glasses made Kevin Costner and the majority of the cast look really blue, but the Native American settlement looked a hell of a lot more colourful than when I last saw it on TV. Also, even though the lead chick looked blue and cat like, I still found her strangely attractive indeed.
I also watched "How to lose friends and alienate people" last night. It wasn't too bad at all.
When I wasn't watching films I did a collage of my face using more realistic skin tones, which meant going through my old FHM's to get the required skin tones. A most enjoyable artistic experience.
I'm listening to Aphex Twin at the moment.
Eh.... that is all.
Hope all is well!

and the runs. Aloha people of earth, that’s right I’m pretty fricking sick! I’m sick of being sick, I’ve never been so sick so much in my life, I’m genuinely concerned like from never being sick to feeling strange if I’m not experiencing some sort of cold sweat! It sucks, I mean I wrap up warm, I take my vitamins, say my prays and are nice to mom and dad!!! What does a guy have to do to stay moderately healthy, I’m tired, I’m gunna get up early see how I feel.
On a different note (or maybe its related, I considering the activity of extra terrestrials may be the cause of my constant illness) but here’s a video of a recent ufo sighting in our beloved city of Dublin, I’m gunna find the date of the movie match it with my recent illness and crunch some numbers stay tuned fledglings!

these are mine final pieces for mine favourite college project so far. my favourite, yet i still left most of the work until the night before the deadline. it was christmas, c'mon! that's an excuse. i just had lots of dvds to watch and a great deal of inherent apathy. so do i get the job?...
if you want to buy my work you can't, but i will trade for fungal spores, vines, cacti, herbs and amphibians. a healthy milk goat will do.
for our next project we will take down the banks. bring it all back to zero. economic equilibrium. it's for a competition, you can win 5 grand!

Okay first of all I DID NOT DRAW THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The pencils and inks were done by Will Sliney just to clear it up! This was my first ever shot at colouring someone else's work about 3 years ago, its for the graphic novel Atomic Rocket Group 66 which was written by Rob Curley and as I said above drawn by Will Sliney. It was originally released in black and white and I'm almost finished the 2nd volume which will hopefully be released next year. Hope ya'll likey :)

Aloha guys hope the holidays were good to ye! Sucks we gotta go back right? The holidays were pretty pretty pretty good! Its always hard to get back into work even when its something you love, like our "where the wild things are" for example thats a project I should really be into, I'm drawing monsters for college!!! I'm trying my best, I just cant get my head around it! I seem to not be able to produce stuff I'm happy with! Should I do it my way? Would it make things easier? Should I go in the original book style? Questions I should have been asking myself some time ago considering its due Wednesday!!!
Well all things can't go so well however I do have the Illustrator project done, it's mindless and creativeless so thats half the work done! That makes my job a lot easier, at least thats done and dusted!
I just saw Avatar tonight and I must say I'm on the band wagoon and I really enjoyed it, def worth your time, I can't see it being as good on the regular Joe's auld TV! It's not one of my fave movies but it is excellent anyway the question I really should be asking myself is why the long winded rant when I should be fricken working! So I'll leave you with this...
Somebody get a sponge

tremble in fear and panic before the sledmen of the SNOWPOCALYPSE!!! millions will perish! and those of us who... it's melting? grand.
after much deliberation i have arrived at a decision regarding my life plan. hobo by choice. must be near equator. outskirts of city, beside beach. must have large tree for headquarters. requires long beard, cloak, philosophical dog and staff (long stick), and staff (workers).
firstly, i must gain the trust of the native hobos and become accepted into their society. observing the alpha i will learn his weaknesses. with stuff i remembered from bear grylls' program i impress the natives and my staff grows (workers). next is resistance and revolution, then liberation and sovereignty, then war! then we overthrow the hobo despot and i return to civilization to write a book about my experiences. with the profits we buy a large scrapyard and build our city from the junk. with our capital city founded we venture out to uncharted lands to form a global hobo's free society. i think that's reasonable.
I'm back! Sorry there were a couple of missed posts. The holidays are now indeed over, even if we haven't quite gotten back to college yet!! To make up for it, I've posted a number of sketches in a kind of collage. These were sketches inspired by the WTWTA assignment. The final pieces will be a bit removed from these, but I thought I'd show these to eyes other than mine none the less. Hope everyone had a great Xmas and all that! I thought I saw some snow outside, could be just imagining it.

This little ditty is of the main man himself - after Batman of course everyone knows the coolest man on the planet is Bruce "The Boss" Springsteen. He's a bit of a hero of mine so I thought it was time enough for him to be the subject of one of my doodles........................hope ya likey!

I know I know I know it's sunday.. but I just got back to D-town yesterday and was way too jetlegged (lagged? u joking? It's only an hour behind sweden) and had to drink champagne (well sort of, sparkling wine for the pauper) to make it go away.
I spent about 5 minutes in stephens greens park today and worked on my fascination/hate for birds.
